Vertis brokerage: transparent market price, low cost, quick and comfortable service

Vertis is an investment and financial advisory firm specialized in emissions trading and environmental markets. The brokerage service provided by Vertis allows you to trade through a limit price order, on transparent market price. You may manage your transaction with an English or local broker, pursuant to a contract in English, governed by English law .

Vertis sells (or buys) the Principal’s emission allowances on the Climex platform. All transactions are cleared and settled by APX (formerly known as the Amsterdam Power Exchange), the central clearing house of the exchange; thereby considerably reducing the delivery and payment risk for participants. The allowances are sold (or bought) at the current market price, which may be checked based on APX' transaction report any time.

The brokerage process takes the following five simple steps:

  1. Transfer your allowances (or sufficient funds) to the holding account (or cash account) of Vertis as a deposit.
  2. Follow the market, consult with Vertis and instruct us by phone or in text to place your order into the order book of the exchange, giving the chosen limit price and the volume to be traded.
  3. If the market price reaches your limit price, your order will be matched. Before your order is accepted, you may instruct Vertis any time to change the details of your order, i.e. the limit price and the quantity to be traded.
  4. After your order has been matched, the clearing house of the CO2 exchange, APX clears and settles the transaction and transfers the purchase price (or the allowances) to Vertis’ bank account (or holding account).
  5. After the receipt, Vertis will immediately transfer the purchase price reduced by the brokerage fee (or the allowances) to the Principal’s bank account (or holding account). The purchase price (or the allowances) will be credited to the Principal’s bank account (or holding account) in no more than 4-8 working days after the clearing and settlement process.
